Touch Free Hand Wash Sinks

We've gone touch free!  Our standard handwash sinks are now available with automatic faucets and soap dispensers!  We are offering these units as our standard stock sink for faster shipping to our customers.

Hands free faucets are not only more sanitary, but can save water usage (an important feature when you must fill and empty water containers) and the touch free Gojo Foam Soap Dispenser uses factory sealed soap cartridges, eliminating bacteria found in refillable soap dispensers and allowing for easier rinsing.  Because the foam soap rinses more quickly than lotions, this option also uses far less water.

Sanitary and convenient, this newest addition to our portable sink line is sure to become our most popular!

At Cartable Solutions, we are constantly adapting our designs to comply with the most stringent health department requirements.  Remaining a step ahead gives our customers the peace of mind that they are not only getting the highest quality product, but one that will satisfy their local health department regulations.

This self contained sink features sturdy yet light weight aluminum framed ABS cabinet in black or natural (beige). Cabinet dimensions begin at 29" x 19" x 38" equipped with 2 1/2 gal. hot water heater , 6 gallon fresh water tank and 7 gallon waste water tank.  Our sinks are equipped with quick connect fittings, large drain hoses, adjustable temperature hot water tank and fully enclosed, GFCI electrical boxes for safety, making set up easy and maintenance minimal!

Touchless Technology Keeps Germs in Their Place

Driven by the growing concern over germs

on restroom surfaces, an increasing number

of commercial, private, and public buildings

are installing automatic faucets, flushers, soap

and paper towel dispensers, cleaning systems,

and other touch-free devices in their restrooms......

Automatic faucets save water, which only flows

when hands activate the fixture. Excess water

use is no longer an issue solely for conservationists,

but also for the budget-conscious. People who move

slowly often allow faucets to flow longer than

necessary, or forget to turn them off when they

are done washing......

Sanitary concerns are just one of the reasons we

have adapted our portable sinks to use touchless

technology.  Water savings are significant using a

touch free faucet and foam soap dispenser, thereby

reducing the number of times our customers will

have to refill and empty their water containers.

Cartable Solutions Portable Sinks....the first portable

hand wash sink to use touchless technology as a

standard sink option!

Studies Show Unsuspecting Public
Could Be Putting Their Health At Risk
When Using Soap From Open Refillable

Soap Dispensers

“Every time you use soap from an open refillable bulk soap reservoir dispenser, you could be putting hundreds of millions of fecal bacteria on your hands, which is actually more than is in the toilet after you flush it,” said Dr. Charles P. Gerba, microbiologist from the University of Arizona in Tucson.

The studies conducted by the University of Arizona, under the direction of Dr. Gerba, showed that approximately 23 to 25% of samples taken from open refillable bulk soap reservoir dispensers were contaminated with unsafe levels of bacteria.  Coliforms, illness causing fecal-based organisms, were found in 16 to 22% of the samples.

The amount of contamination was higher in samples collected from health and fitness facilities.  There, nearly 33 of random samples taken from open refillable soap dispensers were contaminated with unsafe levels of bacteria.  Coliforms, illness causing fecal-based organisms, were found in 50 to 55% of the contaminated samples.

Dr. Gerba suspected that the number of contaminants were higher due to the warmer environment in showers and sinks located in locker room areas.

In contrast, no bacterial contamination was found in soap dispensed from sealed systems.
